Indicative rail infrastructure development strategy (2012/34/EU)

Fulfillment of the obligation comming from the Article 8, paragraph 1 of Directive No. 2012/34/EU
There is an obligation for the Member States comming from the Article 8, paragraph 1 of Directive No. 2012/34/EU establishing a single European railway area to publish by 16 December 2014 "an indicative rail infrastructure development strategy with a view to meeting future mobility needs in terms of maintenance, renewal and development of the infrastructure based on sustainable financing of the railway system". Due to the extend and nature of the document "Transport Sector Strategies, 2nd phase", it was decided by the Ministry of Transport, that this document, respectively its part related to the rail infrastructure, will be considered, as far as the Czech Republic is concerned, also as a way of fulfilment of above mentioned obligation. http://www.dopravnistrategie.cz/en/
