Construction preparation of new motorways towards Austria, Poland and Olomouc is in full swing

The D11 motorway between Hradec Králové and Jaroměř and D35 in the sections Časy – Ostrov and Opatovice nad Labem – Časy are those that are in the most advanced preparation phase: construction should begin already in the autumn of this year. The government today received information on the preparation of all nine priority projects. These are projects for which the government has negotiated an exemption from a completely new environmental impact assessment, the so-called EIA.

"Archaeological research is currently under way on the D11 and D35 motorway sections and is an integral part of the construction process. Building machines can already be seen on the site. We want to start the actual construction by the end of this year, "says Transport Minister Dan Ťok. The archaeological survey is being performed on other priority projects as well, such as the D1 in the Říkovice – Přerov section, the D3 in section Úsilné – Hodějovice and Hodějovice – Třebonín and the D11 in section Smiřice – Jaroměř.

Other priority projects are the D6 in sections Lubenec – Nové Strašecí bypass – Řevničov and Řevničov – bypass, D48 – Frýdek-Místek bypass, D49 in section Hulín – Fryšták, D55 Otrokovice – south-east bypass and modernisation of the railway line between Sudoměřice and Votice.

The preparation of some projects is challenged by property settlements such as a lawsuit between the State Land Office and the Church due to the D11 route between Smiřice and Jaroměř involving the release of the land in question or a dispute with the landowners about the purchase price within the expropriation process under the route of the D55 motorway in the south-eastern by-pass of Otrokovice. For most priority projects, the building permit application has already been submitted or it will be submitted very soon.

The expert opinion is incorrect; the usual price is one-tenth of that amount. ŘSD ČR disagrees with this expert opinion, the Expropriation Authority ordered an opinion review)
