The Ministry of Transport will support the construction of conventional recharging stations for electric vehicles from the Operational Programme Transportation (OPD). Up to CZK 174 million is allocated for construction support of alternative fuels infrastructure for this purpose from EU funds.
The D1 reconstruction in front of Prague is coming to the final phase. The asphalt top cover will be completed in two weeks between km 12 and 16 of the most heavily used Czech motorway. In September and October three more modernised D1 sections will be opened as well, so almost 90 km of the D1 motorway will have been repaired and modernised.

When entering a traffic jam, drivers must create the so-called "rescue aisle" between the left and the adjacent lane. This amendment to the road traffic act was passed today by the Senate. This is the same isle as in the neighbouring countries. Fire rescue vehicles and ambulances can also combine the blue and red beacon.
The 10th Prague district will be much easier to reach by trains from 2021. This will be possible thanks to the completion of civil structures worth over CZK 4 billion, the construction of which was officially started today by the RIA. Trains connecting the capital with South Bohemia will now use the high-capacity four-rail track where a new station Prague-Zahradní Město and the Praha-Eden station will be built. The track speed will rise to 120 km/h.
The last technical inspections took place between Jihlava and Velký Beranov, confirming that the section is safe for driving. RSD removed all traffic restrictions during one weekend and the section is now in normal use. There are still final works to be done here, but they will not affect the motorway traffic.
