It has been a year since citizens have been able to request a change of data in the Road Vehicle Registry online from their homes and save themselves a visit to the office. Over 30 000 vehicle owners have made use of the so-called “eSubmission” (ePodání) when applying for a change in the Road Vehicle Registry via the Transport Portal. The eSubmission option is mostly used by owners who are selling and buying a vehicle and when issuing a supplementary registration plate. Since the end of last year, the Transport Portal has also been made available to legal representatives of businesses, who can use the same options as citizens on behalf of their companies.

"One of the most popular services is the transfer of the vehicle to the new owner. We not only complete everything for both the seller and the buyer, but there is no longer any need for a power of attorney between these entities and they both receive progress notifications. It takes just a few clicks," says transport minister Martin Kupka.

In the Vehicle Agenda on the Transport Portal users can electronically apply for:
- Registration of a road vehicle in the Road Vehicle Registry (purchase of a new vehicle in the Czech Republic or import of a vehicle from abroad)

- Entering a change of data in the Road Vehicle Registry (change of residence, name of owner/operator or change of technical data of the vehicle)
- Issuance of a supplementary licence plate with a registration plate (issuance of a licence plate with a registration plate for a bicycle stand, luggage rack, etc.)
