The transport portal continues to expand its services. Users can now find all information about their air certificates and registrations, including drones there. Through the Transport Portal it is now also possible to submit applications to the Aviation Registry of the Czech Republic. This is the next step towards the complete digitisation of the transport agenda.

"The digitisation of key transport agenda is progressing rapidly. All aviation enthusiasts and owners of unmanned systems will be able to benefit even more from the Transport Portal. They can now find information about their qualifications and licences in a single place," says transport minister Martin Kupka, adding: "In the Czech Republic there are about 45 thousand drone operators and approximately 2.5 thousand aircraft operators. They will all now have their licences at hand at any time and online."

"The agenda of the Civil Aviation Authority has been digitised for a long time and we are pleased that data from the Authority's information system can be easily shared on the sector key portal. This builds on the purely digital drone agenda. My colleagues are still working on other agendas to make the application as quick and easy as possible," says David Jágr, director of the Civil Aviation Authority.

Holders of licences and certificates on the Transport Portal can now see their operator certificates of a remote pilot or unmanned aerial system operator on one page, while in the aviation sector users can see information on the competence of airline personnel and proof of reliability verification. Reliability verifications are a concern every year for up to 18 000 people who can now check all important aspects in one place with just a few clicks. This extends the range of digital tools that have been in place since the launch of the Transport Portal in December last year, which include, for example, drone operator registration or booking of a test date for drone operators.

Aircraft operators and owners can also submit online applications to the Czech Aviation Registry via the Transport Portal. For the successful processing of the application, the applicant will need technical data on the aircraft, information on the owners and operators including their possible representatives or authorised persons.

The expansion of the Transport Portal functions will continue. "In the coming weeks users can look forward to expanded functionalities for drivers. We will for example make available an extract from the driver's registration card," concludes minister Kupka.
