"We recommend motorists not to delay the purchase of annual coupons until the end of January, but they should buy them as soon as possible. In is in their interest that they will avoid the potential risk of last-minute mass purchases of the coupons that may be temporarily sold out in some branches," said the Minister of Transport Dan Ťok.
All sales points, including post offices, can be found
here. Coupon distribution is provided by a supplier company consisting of Autoklub Bohemia Assistance, a.s., Česká pošta, s.p. and MTX, spol. s r.o. The individual sales points are indicated using a special sticker and are also equipped with a price list and a three-language information leaflet. New motorway stickers are again provided with security features due to their increased counterfeit protection.
Drivers will also not need the motorway coupon for 41 km of motorways. This applies to sections that constitute city bypasses or through which category 1 roads pass, such as the D3 motorway around Veselí nad Lužnicí, the D6 between Cheb and Karlovy Vary and the D55 around Otrokovice. We wrote more on which sections are exempt from the motorway toll
here.
