OneTicket, the universal train ticket system, will now receive a new type of travel document. Since 11 December, people can buy a one-day network ticket for travelling around the Czech Republic.
The next phase of the single tariff system for Czech railway, i.e. One Ticket, was launched on Sunday 13 December. After a successful pilot run on two routes, the passengers can use its benefits on all train connections commissioned by the Ministry of Transport and regions. OneTicket will offer easy travelling without a need to worry about which carrier the passengers are taking. It will also offer a 25% loyalty discount.
OneTicket receives more features in the pilot operation. Passengers can now buy an electronic ticket through the e-shop or mobile app. This shall test the functionalities for all railway lines before routine operation starts in December 2020.
